Are you looking for ways to partner with schools in a cross-cultural context?

If you have answered yes to any of the above then we invite you to contact us and learn more about volunteering or partnering with our organization and joining us to share in local village life.

FAQ:

Who will you work with?

You would work with the local teachers and staff and at times, with other volunteer teachers

Where is ABO?

The organization is based in Slor Kram Village, Slor Kram Commune, Siem Reap District, 7 min cycle from the old market area in Siem Reap, and 6.1km from the famous Angkor Wat temple.

How long has it been operating?

The school has been in operation since 2011

Is there a cost?

If volunteering we ask for a donation that goes towards the operation costs of the school. If partnering we do not ask for a donation.

Will I need my own transport and food?

Volunteers will need to supply their own transport and lunch. PassApp Taxis are now easily accessible and cost on average $3 per trip.

Where would I stay?

Budget accommodation can be organized through ABO. There are also various accommodation options in Siem Reap city.

Volunteers are welcome to share their knowledge, skills, activities, and recommendations as these are always taken into consideration. If you are interested in assisting our teachers at ABO or partnering with ABO School then please contact us for further information.

Please note:  we request all volunteers to complete a volunteer application process as part of our commitment to safe practices when working with vulnerable children and we invite volunteers to partner with us in this commitment.

Siem Reap is a beautiful and historic place to visit and we look forward to welcoming you soon!
